AI Audit
AI audit: what we look at, what you get, and what it costs
An AI audit looks at where your business spends its hours and its money, and says which jobs AI should take on, which need a tool you can buy, and which to leave alone. Niddy's AI Audit costs £1,495 fixed, takes five days with minimal client time, and carries a guarantee: ten times the fee in estimated annual value identified, or the fee back.
This is the business kind of AI audit: finding where AI pays. It isn't a compliance audit of AI systems you already run, which is a different service.
What we look at
- Sales and marketing spend: what's working, what isn't, and what to stop or redirect.
- The inbox and customer service: the questions you answer every day, and how long replies take.
- Orders, quotes and stock: how they arrive, who keys them in, and where things get missed.
- Admin: supplier chasing, invoices, reporting, and the jobs that eat evenings.
- The tools you already pay for, including AI features you may not be using yet.
What you get
- A plan that says, for each job, whether to build, buy or wait, in the order we'd do them.
- The estimated annual value of each item, worked out from your own numbers.
- What each build would cost, and what you can do yourself.
- If you're applying for funding, a grant deliverables pack: the plan, the business case and the costs, in the shape an application needs.
How it runs
A kick-off call, read-only access to the systems you already use, and a readout at the end. We do the digging, so it needs minimal time from you. If the plan doesn't identify at least ten times the fee in estimated annual value, you get the fee back.
What an audit found
In one independent UK retailer's audit, the biggest finding was £20,000 to £35,000 a year of marketing spend to stop or redirect, before any AI went in. Read the case study.
Doing it yourself first
- List the jobs that take the most hours each week, and who does them.
- Note where each one's information arrives: email, PDF, spreadsheet or a system.
- Mark which follow clear rules and which need judgement.
- Put a rough cost on the hours.
- Pick one job that repeats, follows rules and gets checked by a person, and start there.
